Agency Land and a Chance Meeting.
The founders of Kings of Search, Joshua & Jack started working together in Digital at one of the largest agencies in Australia. Coming from two different backgrounds in event management and traditional media, Joshua and Jack quickly developed their own style of Digital and quickly identified issues in the market that if tweaked could be easily solved to benefit both the agency and the customer alike. Through their time in Agency Land together, Joshua and Jack developed a symbiotic skill set for how they approach their marketing with each individual adding their own flair to projects for a great combined end product. #dreamteam!
Acquisition and Re-position.
The agency was acquired and the the two shifted to a boutique style agency, thinking that this place would be the second coming (due to the start-up nature and having less clients and more resources). The two set out to service their clients with more freedom and flexibility, only to realise that it takes more than time and resources to achieve the quality and standards they had agreed were right. It requires processes that allow the account manager to thrive and the client to prosper without the noise of unrealistic promises and yes for the sake of yes.
A New Path.
It was at this moment the two realised that if they didn't go out on their own the industry would be at a standstill - a whole lot of dodgy business practices, over inflated egos, way too many cowboys and unsatisfied customers led the founders to create Kings of Search. It is here we thrive, together we create Digital Excellence.
